Marc Chagall Fountain Pen by Gourji and Montegrappa

The Marc Chagall Fountain Pen is the first pen in the “Pride of the Nation” collection and is dedicated to one of the best-known artists of the 20th century, Marc Chagall. His spiritual connection with Russia was never broken and Chagall’s home town of Vitebsk, immortalized in his paintings, remained in his soul. 

The barrel of the pen is decorated with the artist’s favorites’ motif, a landscape of the legendary land of Chagall, his home town of Vitebsk with its houses and fences, which he pined for his whole life.

The cap features one of Chagall’s most famous paintings, Over the Town, which is one of a series depicting flying lovers. 

Russian jeweler brand “Gourj’s is behind the design of each pen in this collection. The collection represents a harmonious mix of traditional and the contemporary, of long -preserved decorative techniques and the latest technology. 

Gourji pens are made in Italy by the craftsmen of Montegrappa.  This pen is a limited Edition of 222. Each pen is marked with an individual number. 

The 18k nib is engraved with an image of a menorah, one of the most important symbols of Judaism.
